Come hungry...

Our mission at The Refuge is to ‘challenge and equip students to be passionate followers of Jesus Christ.’ We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, relevant for life today.

Each week we dive deep into the Word of God, because we believe that a passionate follower of Jesus Christ needs to know the heart of God as expressed through His Word. We believe that God longs to be in relationship with us and we’ve designed The Refuge to be a place where students can not only be challenged with the truth of Scripture, but also given practical tools to live lives completely surrendered to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

Whether you’ve never heard of Christ before or have been a believer for years, The Refuge offers a place where you can be challenged and equipped to live your life with purpose and meaning for the glory of God.

Dirk Helmling leads the Bible Study each Wednesday night at The Refuge.  We usually start right after worship, somewhere around 7:30 and we try to be done by 8:30. When you come, you’ll be given a handout for the night, with notes from Dirk’s talk. And in case you miss The Refuge, you can download the talks from our website.
